At only 10 mils thick, 3M double side tape 4914 is the thinnest double-coated foam tape in the 3M line. You get the high shear strength proven for more than 25 years in applications worldwide but with a low profile matched only by 3M VHB Transfer Tape F-9473 PC.
Combining acrylic adhesive and acrylic foam carrier, 3M VHB Foam Tape 4914 provides the following for electronics assembly:
1. Added stability of a carrier for handling, die-cutting, and application ease
2. Cushioning to damp vibration and absorb impact
3. Simultaneous bonding and sealing of a variety of materials on contact with the strength to replace mechanical fastener
